Described as a musical "infant prodigy" when 7 years old, she has been likened to Irish pop/rock favourites The Corrs, Alanis Morrisette and Tori Amos. So diverse and finely developed are her musical talents that she will delight her audiences with any type of music but this year it is Pop/Folk/Rock essentially with just a dash of opera & classics
Amongst her recent work, she has written classical music for both TV and the stage. She has also performed her own songs on radio and TV. She also wrote the pop song for St Barts Hospital which helped to save the great hospital from closure.
Emma's parents, have encouraged music in the four daughters from an early age. All four talented sisters sing, play the piano and a musical instrument, first appearing as a family orchestra in an Eisteddfod when Emma was 7. The four girls were a rather enchanting singing quartet
Emma B-M's music was stimulated at her prep school in Dorset and she won a Scholarship to a Dorset Public School developing her classical music across a broad frame. An Oxbridge student she chose to study Oriental Studies (Mandarin Chinese).
